Michaela is a diagnostic radiographer by profession and a Winston Churchill research Fellow and spent her research fellowship in New Zealand exploring approaches to child protection. When not working Michaela enjoys spending time relaxing on her farm, walking her dogs and playing her guitar.
Plans for the UCD Innovation Academy Fellowship 2021:
My hopes for the fellowship are to have time and space to reflect on the skills I have learned on previous modules at the academy and help develop my creative side so that I am open to and can develop new ways of thinking to adapt and utilise in my daily working practices, be they as part of the Innovation Academy team or my own team in Diagnostic Imaging and in the wider educational community. I would like the opportunity to link with other institutions and collaborate on real issues that will have a positive impact.
