UCD Global Tour, 1st September
New, international students at UCD tour the Greenacre.
Lunasa Festival, 2nd September
We will run the 4th Celtic festival Lunasa timing it during orientation. We are working with UCD Orientation and Peer Mentoring to make it a broad event. Events will run from 12:30 p.m. until 6:30 p.m.
College of Engineering and Architecture Tour, 3rd September
First year students of the College of Engineering and Architecture will be given a tour around Greenacre to learn more about sustainability and the environment as key elements of their degree.
College of Science Tour, 4th September
First year students of the College of Science will be given a tour around Greenacre to learn more about sustainability and the environment as key elements of their degree.
SDG Week, 23 to 25th September
UCD Sustainability will run events at Greenacre for the whole week, focusing on Sustainable Development Goals.
Waste Less, Taste More, 29th September
An event sponsored by the Co-Centre for Sustainable Food Systems to celebrate International Day of Awareness of Food Loss and Waste event.
Samhain Festival, 29th October
Come dressed up as your favourite ghoul or spooky character in our annual Halloween festival. Festivities start at 3 p.m.
Imbolc Festival, 28th January
Also known as St. Brigid’s Day, activities honouring the saint and nature will start at 12 p.m.
Bealtaine, 22nd April
Our annual Earth Day fest featuring performances and activities by different UCD units and student societies. Events start at 10 a.m.
