UCD Innovation Academy’s inaugural Festival of Lifelong Learning takes place in O’Reilly Hall UCD on Tuesday June 27th.

Day Time Programme

1pm: Registration Opens (Participants are required to pre-register for the VR and MakerSpace sessions only due to limited places; other sessions are open access)

1 – 2pm: Networking lunch in UCD O’Reilly Hall

2pm -2.30pm: Welcome from Professor Suzi Jarvis, Founding Director UCD Innovation Academy

Opening Keynote Address: Claire McGee – Head of Education and Innovation Policy IBEC (Theatre Room, O’Reilly Hall)

Participants choose their afternoon sessions and go to the relevant venue for each session. Note that MakerSpace and VR sessions require forward registration upon arrival at 1pm on a first come, first served basis.

Opening Address: Professor Suzi Jarvis, Founding Director, UCD Innovation Academy

Fireside Chat: Author and educator, Dr. Katriona O’Sullivan and entrepreneur and Innovation Academy alum Sharon Keegan will discuss education, adversity and more in a fireside chat moderated by UCD Innovation Academy’s Maurice Knightly.

In the second half of this session, hear from Brian Downes, performance and leadership coach and co-founder of Performance Nerds, and Niall O’Carroll, leadership advocate and Pep Talk’s Chief of Global Partnerships, who will join UCD Innovation Academy’s Dr. Lollie Mancey in conversation.
