Rodrigo has spent the last nine years navigating the diverse landscape of UCD. Before joining the Innovation Academy, he built a multifaceted career working across Registry, Finance, School of Economics, School of Computer Science, and the College of Social Sciences and Law.
Beyond his core roles, Rodrigo has been involved with the Sustainability Committee, reflecting his personal dedication to the environment.
Originally from São Paulo, Brazil, Rodrigo completed his studies in Business Management and built a strong professional foundation in Banking and Procurement. Since moving to Ireland, he has spent over nine years at University College Dublin, gaining a unique 360-degree view of the University through different roles .Rodrigo joined the UCD Innovation Academy to further explore new horizons in his career, specifically focusing on the intersections of Innovation, Creativity, and Sustainability. This commitment to a greener future is also reflected in his involvement with the UCD Sustainability Committee.
A true nature lover and “plant parent,” Rodrigo finds balance outside of work through music, the outdoors, and spending time with his family and dogs.
